Oxenwood Strengthens German Business With New Hire

Oxenwood Real Estate has hired Daniel Hasin to lead the growth of its German last-mile logistics investment platform.

Hasin joins from Bowery Europe, where he served as director, investments and country lead for German acquisitions. He led the firm’s expansion to Germany and the German logistics investment programme.

He previously worked at CLS Holdings for around four years, as investment manager leading German acquisitions. His real estate career started at AF Advisory in London, advising pan-European investors on acquisitions, financing and joint venture structuring.

At Oxenwood, Hasin will initially be stationed in London within the European investment team. The platform that he will lead covers sourcing, acquisitions, and asset management. He will focus on urban and infill logistics assets serving Germany’s largest conurbations, where structural undersupply of well-located space, constrained land availability and continued growth in e-commerce and same-day fulfilment continue to drive occupier demand and rental growth.

Stewart Little, CEO of Oxenwood Real Estate, said: “Germany, along with the UK, continues to be a key market for the firm and our focus currently is on smaller unit sizes in established markets.

“Daniel’s experience in these markets will complement our existing origination capabilities particularly in off-market execution. His appointment also strengthens our local relationships and execution capability to build a dedicated urban platform in Germany at scale.”

Hasin’s arrival follows new hires made over the past few months, including Ivan Zhang, who also joined the European Investment team, and James Ellis, who was appointed Head of Asset Management and Development.

Oxenwood specialises in logistics real estate in the UK and Europe. It entered the German market in 2017 and has since transacted across core, core-plus and value-add logistics strategies
