Who we are

We are privately owned and invest both directly and in joint venture with domestic and international partners. The objective of the Firm is to be one of Europe’s leading vertically integrated logistics real estate operating businesses.

What we do

We invest from our balance sheet and in joint venture investment programmes in a range of real estate asset classes in the UK and Europe so as to have the flexibility to deploy capital on a “right time, right place” basis. Presently our focus is on logistics real estate.

 

Allowing the creation of portfolios which match the individual requirements of investment partners, this approach is based around an “income-based total return” focus. The approach seeks to establish portfolios which generate a high-quality, distributable income stream supplemented with capital upside delivered through occupier-led asset management initiatives and development.

We are independent and aligned with our investors – the management team co-invests in every transaction.

Our investment strategy includes:

  • Opportunistic acquisition and development of high-quality, income-producing assets with scope for medium-term value-add asset management initiatives
  • Management of the portfolio with the goal of income growth through fixed uplifts, rental reviews and general market strengthening
  • Geographic range of the entire UK, but focused on regional areas to capture the ripple effect from London and the south east

Our history

  • First acquisition in Germany for new pan European JV with NREP

  • 1million sq. ft. speculatively constructed

  • Successful fundraise for Oxenwood Logistics Fund 1 (discretionary fund)

  • New large scale Joint Venture signed with funds managed by Apollo Global Management

  • Expansion of European Portfolio with acquisitions of DHL Logistics property in Dublin and 2 further UK Logistics assets at Irlam and Leicester

  • Sale of £207m UK Logistics Portfolio to Singaporean Ascendas REIT. Commencement of reinvestment of proceeds into £140m UK Logistics assets and EUR 55.3m German portfolio of 5 assets in a sale and leaseback transaction with DHL Freight

  • Oxenwood Portfolio now c.£550m Logistics real estate, including most recent portfolio acquisition in Germany

  • JV agreed with Canadian Institutional Investor for £100m Equity commitment to UK Logistics

  • Established £100m Equity Joint Venture with Catalina Holdings / Forum invest in Management platform

  • Established Oxenwood Real Estate
