Kast expands operations with new facility in Nottingham

Kast Concrete Basins is the second occupier to take space at Oxenwood’s Power Park, Nottingham, industrial and logistics scheme.

The new manufacturing and showroom facility will be in a 33,154 sq.ft. with Kast Concrete Basins installing a fit out to meet their operational requirement.

Stewart Little, CEO of Oxenwood Real Estate said: “We continue to make excellent progress on the leasing of the units at Power Park evidenced by the signing of Kast Concrete in Unit 3B.  The scheme has been delivered to an extremely high specification with ESG at the forefront of the general design which has been a compelling factor in occupier’s decision-making process. The range of unit sizes and their proximity to Nottingham city centre further support the tenant interest received to date.

Guy Cooke, Senior Director at BNP Paribas Real Estate, commented “we searched extensively across the East Midlands for a suitable new home for Kast and I am delighted that our client has secured this deal and will expand operations at Power Park.  The prime location and quality of built environment was a winning combination. It was a pleasure working with Oxenwood and their team to conclude this letting.”

The joint letting agents for the scheme are M1 Agency, Savills and CPP, the agents commented “This second letting has helped reinforce the quality of product on offer within Nottingham City Centre. There continues to be latent strong demand from occupiers for ESG focussed, new build units that are well connected to the main arterial routes.

In this case the building will be used as both a manufacturing hub for the creation of bespoke basins, as well as a show room to enhance the general customer/supplier experience whilst on site. We have good levels of interest in the remaining units and hope to announce further lettings soon.”
